Founded in 1998, in Plymouth, MI under Grateful Moving & Storage, our moving company changed it's name to the founders name to better convey it's dedication and passion for what we do and create a personalized customer experience.  Throughout the years of wrestling with name changes, moving from one office/ warehouse location to another in Canton, Hartland, Burton, Livonia, and Northville, Michigan including offers from a potential partnership with National Van Lines and a brief partnership with Executive Class, we are finally ready and pleased to announce our new name MOORHOUSE MOVERS! 

We feel MOORHOUSE MOVERS has a strong brand identity right away, since we have already built a reputation and fostered strong client relationships and a loyal-customer base for more than 25 years of service.  

We are also pleased to announce our new slogan "Being More-Grateful Movin".  We feel that our slogan communicates with what our founding core message was which is being grateful.  A conscious appreciation for the good things in life and the people who have contributed to them.  

Our Corporate office is located in Ann Arbor, MI with our equipment located in Plymouth, MI.  We are in the process of restoring our trucks and trailers and purchasing new trucks.  While we wait on our updated equipment we currently rent/ lease from the major vendors of the truck rental/lease industry.   We are also in the process of relocating our equipment to a warehouse and preparing to explore future partnerships/investors.

Today, we've expanded our local and long distance moving services nationally and are one of the leading moving companies in the industry, serving clients across the country.  

Our team consists of experienced and dedicated professionals across the country who are committed to providing our clients with the best moving experience possible. The select crew in Michigan is composed of a broad background of top former athletes and musicians.  From his brothers who played top levels of travel hockey to one of his former hockey teammate while playing at Livonia Stevenson high school, in addition; an all-state football player,  we take pride in our work and always go above and beyond to exceed our clients' expectations.  We have in the past and will continue to fly or drive across country to get to the moving pick-ups and destinations moving nationally.  We also do local moves long distance in Michigan and even in other states across the country.  We reserve moves up to a year in advance so give us a heads up if your needing our service later down the road!
